Academic excellence,
character built to last.

St Paul's is regarded as one of the top academic schools in Namibia, a reputation closely guarded and constantly developed. From Cambridge Lower Secondary to A Level, our students are challenged in the classroom and shaped through leadership, culture, outreach and sport.

Three Cambridge levels, one clear pathway

We follow the Cambridge International Education (CAIE) curriculum from Grade 7. Students begin IGCSE in Grade 9 and complete AS Level in Grade 12, with the option to complete A Level in Grade 13. In international CAIE examinations our students regularly achieve top results, with as many as 90% obtaining A*, A, B and C symbols in recent IGCSE examinations.

Grades 7 & 8

Cambridge Lower Secondary

Our students follow the CAIE Lower Secondary curriculum. This phase recognises the social, cognitive and spiritual stages students go through, exposing them to a wide range of subjects and activities.

Art & Design

St Paul's offers the Cambridge AS Level for Art and Design. Art is compulsory for Grade 7 and 8, and students are exposed to different techniques and media. At the end of Grade 8, 9 and 10 they can choose whether to continue with the subject through to Grade 12.

From Grade 10 to 12 the focus sharpens: students take one externally set examination paper plus coursework. We strive to promote an individual style in a wide variety of media within an enjoyable and safe environment.

  • Compulsory for Grades 7 and 8
  • Optional through to Grade 12
  • Cambridge AS Level in Art and Design
  • Fine art, ceramics, sculpting & printing
  • Photography, digital painting & design

An involved student is a happy student

We place importance on each child's participation in as many facets of school life as possible, while fostering intellectual curiosity and creativity. Students can develop skills that are not always measured by marks or scores, and still excel in the activities they enjoy.
