Where strong
foundations begin.
Our vibrant and caring Primary School blends the old with the new, always mindful of a secure and happy school. A wide range of activities helps every pupil grow to their fullest potential, with a thorough academic programme, confidence-building sport and a strong family ethos.

“Namibia offers our children the finest learning landscape in the world.”
A thorough curriculum, a joyful start
Our academic programme is thorough, giving emphasis to English as a First Language, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Drama, Music and Art. German, French and Afrikaans are offered as additional languages. The curriculum includes chess, while guitar can be taken as an optional extra during the school day.
Grade R (Foundation)
Two Grade R classes are housed in a secure and unique setting, each with the support of an assistant. Learning through play, creativity and multisensory activities builds firm foundations and equips each child with life skills, knowledge and sensitivity towards self, others and the environment.
Early Literacy
Language, listening and visual skills are developed through play, stories and creative activities, preparing children for more formal learning.
Numeracy
Hands-on, multisensory activities build number confidence and early mathematical thinking in a fun, nurturing environment.
Life Skills
Motor, emotional, cognitive, creative, confidence and social skills grow through an integrated approach in the classroom and on the playground.
Swimming & Physical Education
Specialist teachers complement the class teacher with weekly Physical Education and swimming, alongside music and a weekly visit to the Media Centre.

Respect, safety and self-discipline
The St Paul's Primary School Code of Conduct sets out the values that keep our school secure and happy, and the shared responsibility each scholar, teacher and parent has in upholding them.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
- 01
A safe, nurturing space
Our school thrives on building a safe and nurturing space for all scholars and staff.
- 02
Safe and respected
Children who feel safe and respected are able to learn and develop fully.
- 03
Positive behaviour
Our Positive Behaviour System looks at exemplary and expected behaviour, as well as the responsibilities of each individual.
- 04
No bullying
Bullying is anti-social behaviour and affects everyone. It is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Parents and scholars are asked to report any incident immediately.
- 05
Self-discipline through teamwork
As in all other areas of our school, self-discipline depends on teamwork between staff and parents.
Confidence, skill and sportsmanship
Our compulsory sport programme teaches sport skills and the values of a healthy lifestyle from an early age, for boys and girls of all abilities. Despite being a small school, we compete exceptionally well against our local schools.
